Cllr Steven Hall – Dedicated to East Wickham
Steven’s journey began on a council estate in Charlton before moving to Abbey Wood. He was educated locally at Woolwich Polytechnic Boys School and went on to study at Thames Polytechnic (Woolwich), North East London Polytechnic (Barking), and City University (Islington), where he earned his Master’s degree. Professionally, Steven is an experienced IT Consultant, having worked across the finance, energy, and government sectors.
Since 2004, Steven has proudly called East Wickham (Welling) home, where he lives with his wife. Their son was born at Queen Mary’s Hospital in 2010, and Steven has been a parishioner at St. Mary’s Church since 2009.
Steven has a long-standing record of public service and community involvement. His previous roles include:

- Board Member, Bexley Safer Neighbourhood Board (2022–2026)
Steven first won the hotly contested East Wickham by-election in 2009 by just 8 votes — a testament to his grassroots campaigning and local support. He has continued working hard and is now recognised throughout East Wickham as someone who can deliver results and ensure residents' voices are heard. With a wealth of experience in policing, finance, community engagement, and social housing, Steven brings a practical, informed, and compassionate approach to local government.
